November is World Vegan Month, a great time to celebrate the many delicious recipes that can be made without using any ingredients derived from animal products.
The meals, appetizers, and desserts below contain no meat or dairy, or any other animal products. Many of these dishes get their nutritional value from proteins like beans, whole grains like brown rice, and different types of vegetables and fruits. In addition, instead of flavoring the food with things like butter, these recipes call for a wide variety of spices.
