Marian had a long history of chronic stress. She works as a nurses’ aide in a busy hospital and cares for her aging mom at home. Although she loves her job and caring for her mom, the amount of stress she experienced felt unmanageable.
How Health Advocate helped
Marian recognized she who needed help and decided to participate in Wellness Coaching.
Marian believes her Wellness Coach’s support made the difference. With her Coach’s help, Marian has:
- Identified action steps she could take toward stress relief, such as taking time for activities she enjoyed
- Committed to do one activity per day, such as riding her bike or reading a book
- Stayed accountable to her goals
- Noticed that she felt less stressed and more relaxed
