Throughout the month of March, Health Advocate held a company-wide competition to help raise money for the March of Dimes. March of Dimes is a nonprofit organization that works to improve the health and well-being of mothers and their babies.
Between March 5 and March 30, departments throughout the company helped raise money for the March of Dimes by holding a “Penny Race” fundraiser. Jars were placed on display–one per department–and employees were encouraged to add change to them throughout the month. The totals steadily rose throughout the weeks.
The Health Advocate clinical team was the department with the total amount of change raised, while the IT team raised the most amount per team member. Each of these departments earned a pizza lunch as their reward.
Premature birth and the complications associated with it are the number one cause of death in babies throughout the United States. Health Advocate proudly worked throughout the month of March to support the March of Dimes in bringing help to those who need it the most.
